"The Ogre" comes out of the dark!  -- event

The new Laurène Braibant's film, The Ogre, is finished, after a production spanning 2015 and the better part of 2016.

Supported by the CNC, by Pictanovo and the Nord-Pas de Calais region, the Annecy festival and the Rhone-Alpes Auvergne region, and the Procirep and the Angoa, it's been produced in Hellemmes-Lille, in the studio Train-Train, Paris and Valence.

New awards for Papy3D films -- awards

2016, december 4

The year 2016 ends beautifully for Papy3D as our films have just gathered several awards in french and international festivals!

My Home keeps on piling awards in the end of its festival career with an Audience award and an honorary mention in the Etudia & Anima festival of Krakow 2016, and an Honorable Mention for Best Animated Film at the Ojai Film Festival 2016.

As for The Head Vanishes, the end of the year do favor it with a Special mention of the jury in the Sequence Short Film festival of Toulouse 2016, the Best scenario award in the Multivision festival of Saint-Petersburg 2016, the Audience award in the Tous Courts festival of Aix en Provence 2016 and the award for the Best Canadian Screenplay at the Whistler Film Festival 2016 !


Papy3D is a production company founded by a fellowship of animation film directors. As they all had experience in directing animation films, they wanted to create a production company which would allow them to have a better control over their work.
